Vibe BQE Fitness

Nice gym with tons of equipment. The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to pay $20 for a day pass even though I live in the area. I could understand charging guests from out-of-town to avoid people taking advantage when traveling, but I don’t understand why there isn’t a free trial for local residents just looking for a new gym.

BQE Fitness is an excellent gym overall. Everyone that works there, from the front desk, trainers, café and all other staff are remarkably professional and friendly. A while back I worked out at Equinox gyms in Manhattan, and BQE Fitness is similar in scope but with more of a community vibe. The gym is very clean and lately undergoing continuous renovations and improvements. I really enjoy working out there. I've also recently begun working with their trainers to address some knee issues. Ryan H. has been super effective in helping me strengthen my legs and alleviate some of the pain. I've also worked with two other trainers, Mel and DeAngelo, and they were both excellent. They also have childcare and monthly art showcases. Overall, a great place to work out.

Just a warning, cancelation is going to be a hurdle. So unless you will be here short term, I don’t recommend joining.

I have enjoyed being a member & being part of the transition and reconstruction to a new gym for a few years. I enjoy the service, the classes & all the amenities this gym has to offer! I highly recommend!

The Gym has a day care that I am supposed to pay for but it only works in the afternoons, today I went to train in the morning and there was no service. The girl who works there was very rude! This will be my last day

We have been bringing the kids here for swim for the past 4 years now. Great teachers and friendly staff. 2 pools good gym and gymnasium. Always clean and currently being renovated for new family locker rooms.

This YMCA is one of the best that I have been to. My children have been taking swimming lessons for the past two years and have become avid swimmers. Given the fact that hundreds of people use this facility, it is very clean. The instructors are patient, the staff is courteous, kind, professional, and recognize you by name. One of the managers, Janice, is a rock star; Deep and Anna are excellent instructors.

It has a good swimming pool, only 6 allowed per lane.
They have a gym, basketball court, and other things.
I would like to second what Melissa Ramirez mentioned in her comment! Ashely is one of the most welcoming and helpful employee at the Y!

Favorite place for over a year. Never crowded, clean, friendly stuff and just amazing year long. Also has a child care which is great for a parents.

Customer service not very customer friendly. During summer, summer camp children are around regularly and supervision is lacking.

Apparently they deleted the review I did 3 years ago. My daughter used to attend 3K here and It was a nightmare, teacher was racist and mean to us, no respect, we even received a visit from Social services because they said that we were abusing my 4 years old daughter. Can't believe all they did to us and all the abuse and all I had to go through, I'm still trying to recover from this... This made my life miserable for months, cried like a baby when The the CPS Visitor came to my house. I love my daughterand I would never abuse her, she was in a playground the day before and was playing monkey in the bars with her friends. they notice my kid in pain but the never call me, they ignored her pain and decided to report me with CPS. BEWARE
